Helping Others With Their Skin
I found myself with a group of college friends this weekend in Orlando, Florida. It was a great time to get together as the airline prices were dirt cheap and the airports weren’t so packed as most people tend to travel over the 4th of July Holiday weekend. This was a planned get together with families and friends, with a small golf outing planned for Saturday being the highlight.
I was quite shocked when everyone asked me why I was so adamant about applying so much sunblock to my skin. After all, I only applied it three times, I thought to myself. However, every0ne had the idea of “I’m in Florida, I am getting a sweet tan.” I really had to dig deep and muster up some tips for educating my Northern-based friends, as I care about their skin and what they will look like as they age. That said, I touched on many topics over the course of that 18 hold debauchery some people like to call “fun.” As you can probably guess, I wasn’t striking the ball too well this fine Saturday!
I found it very odd that some of my old friends had no plans on using the best sunblock to help fight wrinkles and other long-term effects of the sun while we played golf. I was quite amazed at the lack of education they had as far as knowing the power of the sun and how it can affect the skin. So, after a lot of educating, talking, and showing that I do practice what I preach, I finally had sent a message home to my ignorant friends. By the end of the weekend everyone was quite keen on being up to speed on skin care topics, which gave me a sense of accomplishment!
I told my friends to pass on the messages I tried to teach them over the weekend. Skin care education is a great way to help people get healthier and live with glowing, healthy skin later in life. Here are some ways you can help other people out there, in only minutes a day.
If you use skin care products, especially anti-aging products, such as wrinkle creams, submit a review of them to a website that accepts such reviews. I read many reviews before trying products, and I always try to give back by giving a solid eye cream review no matter what type of experience I had with a certain eye cream. It helps other people learn about the product and it gives consumers a general idea of what expectations they can set in place when purchasing. By submitting your thoughts on various types of skin care products, including your ideas for using them in the best manner possible, you can effectively help other people have better user-experiences.
