		<description>Terry, there is a very easy way to break the wallnut shell without damaging the pieces. Take a pointy knife, and put the tip of it in the &quot;rounder&quot; part of the wallnut (not in the pointy side of the wallnut). Once you have the knife in position, push it in a little bit, and then  twist the knife: the nut should split in two easily.

Please be careful with the knife: it could easily slip and hurt you.

		<description>I have one of these adorable baby Jesus in the shell ornaments, but instead of a pompon its a tiny piece of cloth covering the baby&#039;s body.
My question is how to break the shell without damaging both pieces!  Is there any place you can buy them halved?</description>
