Easy Thanksgiving Recipes

With only a couple of weeks until Thanksgiving, many of us are looking for those quick, easy and tasty recipes.

Thanksgiving dinner doesn’t have to be hard on you and your family. For the next 2 weeks, I’ll be posting a recipe every day, so come back and choose what you want to add to your Thanksgiving Meal. As I add new recipes, I’ll come back to this post and update it with links to each of the recipes.

Here is the first recipe:

Thankfully Easy Gravy

Ingredients:

5 cups turkey stock
1 cup water
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp celery salt
1 tsp salt

Instructions:

Place water in small mixing bowl. Slowly add flour stirring as you add to dissolve flour. Bring turkey stock to a rapid boil over high heat. Once boiling reduce heat to medium low. Add flour mixture slowly stirring as you go. Once all the flour mixture has been added, stir in poultry seasoning, pepper, celery salt and regular salt. Bring back to a boil. Continue boiling until gravy is the consistency you like.

You’ve got a guy here who can’t really cook anything but you have made these recipes so simple to follow that I am going to do about five of them over the holiday. I will go shopping tonight to get the ingredients for the Corn & Rice Casserole, Thank You “Corn Bake”, Thanksgiving Cheesecake Surprise, Delicious Turkey Apple Bake, and Thanksgiving Green Bean Treat. All of these items are things I have never had and they all sound so delicious. My wife has to work pretty hard preparing the Thanksgiving meal so I will take over for the rest of the holiday and surprise her with one or more of these each day. Thanks.

Thank you very much for the great recipes you posted. I would love to try them soon. Im still on the stage of getting to know how to cook, so I think the recipes you gave are the best way to start with. Thank you again and hope to get some more recipes from you.

I’m looking forward to all your recipes! This year will be my first year trying to cook dinner for my boyfriend and my family so I need all the help I can get. Easy is good.

Thanks so much!! I love finding new recipes, and yours are so simple I don’t have to worry about finding most of the ingredients, unlike many recipes I find out there!

I can’t wait to try some of these recipes out- thanks again for taking some of the stress out of the holidays!!

Wow, a couple of these look really good! I’m definitely going to give both the Turkey Apple Bake and the Cheesecake a try… I’m not too sure about that No Bake Loaf Cake, though, lol. It sounds like something I’d either really love or really hate. At any rate, thanks for the recipes!

Got something to say?
