Scrumptious Cranberry Mold

Ingredients:

1 (3 ounce) package strawberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup cold water
2 oranges – peeled, sectioned, and cut into bite-size pieces
1 lemon – peeled, seeded and chopped
3 medium tart apples, peeled and chopped
2 cups cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup white sugar

Instructions:

Place gelatin in a large bowl. Slowly add boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. Add cold water. Pour into a gelatin mold. Cover and place in refrigerator. Fold all the fruit together in a large mixing bowl. Add sugar but do not mix. Allow fruit to set until gelatin is partially set. When gelatin is ready fold in fruit.

Recover and place back in the refrigerator until gelatin sets completely. The longer the gelatin is allowed to cool the better it is. Serve with a dollop of whip topping.

About Admin

As a Christian mom of 3, I am always finding new ways to help the busy mommy. Our life on our small farm in East Tennessee affords me the opportunity to appreciate the value of hard work, family, and all that has been given to us. As some may know though, life on a farm is always busy. The Busy Moms blog was created as a place to share the lessons I learn for mothers much like myself. It takes a community to raise a family and the blogging community offers this community. Share with me your stories of being a Busy Mom and tips you have found along the way.
