Hi everyone!

I saw the Hasbro Fur Real Friends Squawkers McCaw (parrot toy) on Black Friday while shopping for my niece — very cute!

I work for Sylvan Dell Publishing, an educational children’s book publisher in South Carolina, and we wanted to let you all know about one of our books — If You Were A Parrot — that helps kids imagine what life would be like as a pet parrot in a fun, whimsical way!

The back of the book features a “For Creative Minds” section with fun facts, a “Make a Beak” craft and tips for taking care of a pet parrot. On our Web site, we offer that section for free along with teaching activities, audio, comprehension & math quizzes, learning links and more — all for free! We also sell a matching pet parrot.

So, if Santa’s bringing the Hasbro Fur Real Friends Squawkers McCaw to a kid you know, I hope you consider stuffing his or her stocking with some educational fun!
