Choosing a Wrinkle Cream for Lip Lines
Eye and lip lines are some of the hardest to eradicate through the skin and therefore more and more women are seeking targeted creams for these areas that can help to not only reduce the appearance of the lip lines, but to eradicate the fine lines that can occur around the lips completely. Through the technology that is being developed through skin care serums and creams, this is becoming more and more likely through the use of products that are demonstrating results within the face quicker than ever through concentrated ingredients that are being used in effective combinations.
There are creams that are becoming targeted for all of these small issues through the face, including eradicating the fine lines that can occur through the lip area and these creams are available in department stores, through beauty stores and even through the internet through the specialized companies that have created the powerful serums. What should you keep in mind while choosing between the many products that are available to find the product that can best target your lip lines?
First, determine whether you are trying to treat fine lines that have recently appeared on the skin or you are trying to fill in deep wrinkles that are set within the skin, deeper than the first layer. When treating the signs of aging, it is important to realize that there are multiple types of creams that are available to choose from and it is important to make the right choice to treat the skin care issues that are present. Using preventative wrinkle creams for already deep set line or using deep wrinkle creams for skin that has yet to develop fine lines is not going to be an effective way to treat the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lip lines.
There are products that have been developed to treat the wrinkles that appear through the lip area and it is important to use these specified products through the targeted areas of the face. Wrinkles that occur through the lip area often begin with fine lines and therefore it is important to reduce the appearance of these fine lines and ensure that concentrated ingredients are used in the skin to promote the production of collagen, as this is the most effective way to treat the deep wrinkles within the skin and plump the skin to reduce the appearance of these wrinkles.
Although lip lines are one of the most common signs of aging that occur through the skin, they are very treatable and even preventable. In the case however, that lip lines have developed throughout your skin there are many things that you can do to decrease their appearance through topical treatments that are least invasive – compared to other treatments that come with higher risks. Topical treatments can be the most effective and easiest way to reduce the appearance of fine lines around the lip area.
Toronto Star Examines Wrinkle Creams
by Karla Sutton
The Toronto Star, the leading Toronto area newspaper, has done an in-depth report on various leading wrinkle creams. The study was done to show if wrinkle creams work. Six middle aged women were used as test subjects and they gathered for an in-depth analysis of several different anti wrinkle cream products. Today I’ll take a closer look at the report and give you my analysis of the study wherever possible.
In the supervised study, the highest-priced product was the $150 Chanel night cream and the cheapest was Jamieson’s $21 eye cream. Of course, in this growing industry, there are literally thousands of anti-aging products available. The estimated $1.3 BILLION dollar industry in Canada alone tells you how many people, both men and women, are using these types of products frequently.
The test subjects reported a “transformation” in this study. Below is a recap of the results.
Three of the women used in the study believed that their wrinkles were reduced. One woman was unsure and two of them observed no change. All of the women, however, “revelled in the daily regime of pampering, they all felt they looked better and some received lovely compliments.”
Below are actual quotes from the article:
“Financial adviser Tammy Laframboise was told over Christmas that she ‘glowed.’”
“At a New Year’s Eve party, three people exclaimed to fire dispatcher Charlene Rathgeb, ‘Your skin looks beautiful.’”
“And fellow vacationers on a Cuban holiday assured fair-haired, sensitive-skinned Rose Marie Hall that she didn’t look her age.”
All six women described their skin as softer, firmer and better looking in general.
The above statement shores up my view on using anti aging creams in general. While most people will buy into the hype of a particular product, some people will hold the makers of the product to the usually ridiculous claims they so often put out there in the public’s eye. I do believe that just about any skin cream made in an FDA-inspected facility will do just what the women all agreed on – their skin was “softer, firmer, and better looking in general.” I say “FDA-inspected” because there really are some garbage products out there that are imported by marketers in the USA out there to buy a cheap cream and flip it for some more money. These creams have little or no therapeutic value at times, as a cheap cream does not contain any ingredients that will affect the skin after finishing the treatment.
I highly believe in the advancement of skin creams through science. What I mean by this is the different ingredients that make up skin creams generally come from cosmeceutical ingredients – ingredients subject to clinical testing in laboratories as far away as Switzerland and France. When you have an ingredient that is tried and tested to reduce wrinkle depth – such as Matrixyl 3000 - as long as the head product formulator has the right blend of ingredients at suitable concentration levels, you normally get a quality product that will firm, soften, and enhance the skin.
The Toronto Star article concludes – “Hydrated skin also looks fuller and healthier and can seem to “glow” as a result of the light-reflecting properties of many creams and lotions.” I could not agree with this statement more. The best wrinkle creams usually have that effect, which is another reason people looking to reduce their perceived age should start using them once they hit their mid twenties.

Eye Cream Blogs tend to Mislead Consumers
If you take some time to search for the words: “best eye cream,” you need to really think to yourself what types of sites you are going to look into with a grain of salt, and what types of sites you should just ignore. I’ve been on a recent mission to explain the difference between people out there who are called “affiliate marketers” and other people who simply report facts. This is a must read if you find yourself constantly questioning the views and opinions from these so-called “bloggers.”
Let me dig deep into this topic so you can see exactly what I am talking about….
Many of the eye cream blogs out there are simply affiliate marketing sites. While I have nothing against affiliate marketing in most capacities, affiliates in the eye cream niche certainly go a little far in their marketing. For those of you not familiar with this term, in short, an affiliate is a paid marketer who earns commissions each time a sale is made from someone who visited their site prior to purchasing a product. In the case of eye creams, affiliates will earn up to 50% of sales made if they convince YOU to go to the next page and buy the eye cream they speak so highly of.
In a nutshell, the affiliate will go to great lengths to get you to hear all of the great information about the “reviewed” eye cream. They will talk about personal experience, point to testimonials that may or may not be used with permission, or in some cases, can be stolen from other websites!
While some eye cream bloggers will tell the truth, give a good eye cream review, and genuinely represent the product they market well, the bad ones spoil this for the industry. They simply misrepresent the products so much that all they really care about is making the sale. This is bad for the eye cream manufacturers – they have to live up to the false hype and probably deal with a lot of returns and customer service issues.
For this reason, it’s best to stick to authority blogs and portals. What exactly do I mean by this? Let me show you an example….
A portal is a domain that is designed to carry out research, news, and information on a certain topic. For the most part, they are the “best” domain name in the entire industry. Luckily, in the eye cream industry, there exists such a portal. You can visit it online for yourself by following the link: Eye Cream Reviews.
You see, this is a true portal. It’s updated daily with eye cream information. It does not slant any product or company. There are ZERO affiliate links on the entire site, and best of all, they are upfront with the audience and tell the world that there are indeed advertisements on the website.
Now, compare this to an affiliate site. An affiliate site is usually written in the first person. It can say “Hi this is Maxine from Chicago, and these are my favorite eye cream products. ” Come on. You really think people are that passionate about products that they take photos of them, write about them, put up a blog about them, and then spend all the time and money to get them indexed and findable in Google? Come on folks, these are marketers who know what they are doing. It takes time, money, and a lot of dirty work to get a site findable in Google. That first page ranking is NOT easy to obtain, and when it is, that’s where the big money flows in.
I don’t say this to slam affiliate marketers, I say this so that people can truly find the best eye cream they are looking for. If you take a good look around, and figure out who the obvious affiliates are, you can really go a long way to helping you find the best eye cream on your first try.
